Structured, not rigid
Base, build, peak and taper, with easy, tempo, threshold, interval, hill and long runs where they belong. Sessions move when life does.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android
Ritmo is a running coach that plans your week, explains every session and adapts after every run. Whether it is your first run/walk or your next marathon.

Every morning
No grids of numbers to decode. Today shows one session: what it is, how long, and the reason it is in your plan. Tap for the steps, paces or effort, and heart rate zones.

How it works
A short setup: your running so far, your goal, the days you can train and any injuries. If a goal is too much too soon, Ritmo says so kindly and suggests a safer one.
Bring in your history from Garmin, FIT, GPX or TCX files, or log a run by hand in seconds. Automatic Garmin sync is coming, pending Garmin's approval, and Apple Health and Health Connect come with the phone apps.
After every run you see what went well and one thing to change. Your next sessions shift to match your fitness, fatigue and how the run felt. Ask the coach to "make tomorrow easier" and it suggests the change for you to confirm with one tap.

Honest numbers
Paces, race predictions and fitness scores only appear when your runs support them, and each one says what it is based on. New runners train by effort until Ritmo has learned enough to set paces.
New to running
A gentle run/walk path, three days a week with rest days in between. Each step builds on the last, and if a session felt very hard, Ritmo holds you at that level a little longer. No watch needed.
When you can run for 30 minutes, a short time trial unlocks paces, race predictions and plans for 5K, 10K and beyond.
Running time in each session, with walking between. Some steps are left out here; your starting point depends on your answers in setup.
Training for a race
Progress shows your threshold pace and aerobic efficiency over time, and tracks your shoe mileage so you know when to replace them.
Base, build, peak and taper, with easy, tempo, threshold, interval, hill and long runs where they belong. Sessions move when life does.
A predicted finish time from your recent performances, and how ready you are for your goal, updated as you train.
Fitness, fatigue and form from your training load, plus a daily readiness check that eases the plan when you need it.
Pacing, heart rate and how it felt, turned into what went well and one clear thing to change next time.
Choose how many hard sessions a week, your long-run style, strides, strength and mobility, and plan length. B and C races fit inside the plan.
Log a bike ride, swim, gym session or walk and it counts towards your fitness and fatigue, based on how much it carries over to running.
Privacy and safety
Ritmo gives coaching guidance, not medical advice.

No. You can log runs by hand with time, distance and how they felt. A watch or phone with GPS and heart rate gives Ritmo more to learn from.
Today you can import your full Garmin history, or single FIT, GPX and TCX files. Automatic Garmin sync is coming once Garmin approves access.
Yes, in the iPhone and Android apps, with your permission.
Yes. Cycling, swimming, the elliptical, gym sessions and walks count towards your fitness and fatigue, so your running plan accounts for them.
Drag a session to another day, ask for a shorter or easier version, or tell Ritmo you are ill or travelling. The plan rearranges itself and tells you why.
